A Future Fest 2027

January 14–15 | Charleston, South Carolina

Small business owners are shaping the future of this country whether the world acknowledges it or not.

They employ nearly half the workforce. They hold communities together. They absorb the pressure when systems break. And yet, they’re rarely given the perspective, respect, or room to lead at the level their responsibility demands.

Most business events focus on tactics inside a single industry.

A Future Fest is different.

It’s a two-day, in-person gathering designed to bring small business owners from different industries into the same room so they can step outside narrow playbooks, see what’s actually working elsewhere, and make decisions that support long-term stability, leadership, and quality of life.

If you believe small business ownership matters, locally and nationally, this room will make sense to you.

The future isn’t decided in boardrooms alone. It’s built in small businesses across America.

At A Future Fest, you don’t just gather ideas. You sharpen judgment. You’ll see patterns. Across industries. Across systems. Across communities. And you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of:

01
WHAT OTHER INDUSTRIES HAVE ALREADY FIGURED OUT AND HOW TO APPLY IT TO YOUR BUSINESS for lasting impact

02
how business decisions shape quality of life, not just Your revenue

03
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE WHEN Small Business OWNERS STOP OPERATING ALONE

Be Part of the Renaissance
  • In the early 1980s the average home price was 3x the median income, today it’s 7x the median income.

  • The pressure on owners has increased while the margin for error has shrunk.

  • Gen Z is the most in debt generation in our country’s history for their age group with no clear paths forward.

  • Local communities are losing the businesses that once anchored them.

the System is changing

The question isn’t whether change is coming.
It’s whether your business is positioned to navigate it.

Most Business Events Optimize for the Short Term. This One Is Built for the Next Decade.

Most business events are designed to help you do more of what you’re already doing.

Slightly better. Slightly faster. Slightly more efficient.

That’s useful until the world changes faster than your playbook.

A Future Fest was built to ask a different question.

How do I make decisions today that still make sense five or ten years from now?

What to Expect

A Future Fest is a two-day, in-person experience intentionally designed around three core objectives

Broaden Perspective
Step outside your industry and see how other owners are navigating growth, leadership, and pressure in real time. Patterns become obvious when you stop solving the same problems the same way.

Sharpen Judgment

Hear from experienced founders and operators who challenge assumptions and reshape how you think about decisions with long-term consequences.

Create Clarity

Connect with other small business owners carrying similar weight, even if their businesses look different. The room is designed for conversations that continue long after the event ends.

Meet Our Team

Robert-David weeks

Host

Robert-David Weeks believes small businesses are the heart of the American economy.

He started his first small business over a decade ago as a DJ, building it from the ground up. In 2018, he went on to found SMAD-CON, a Forbes-featured social media marketing conference.

Through years of conversations with small business owners across the country, one thing has become clear: there’s a growing urgency to protect what small businesses make possible, for our communities, our livelihoods, and the future we’re building.

A Future Fest exists because of that urgency.

A Future Fest reflects her belief that small business owners deserve thoughtfully designed, well-executed rooms that respect the weight of what they’re building.

The Founding 25 are the first 25 small business owners to confirm their seat at A Future Fest 2027 before general admission pricing increases.

This early commitment secures access to the full two-day experience at the lowest available price. Founding 25 participants attend the same event, in the same room, with the same speakers and conversations as the wider audience.

In addition, the Founding 25 are invited to a private, in-person gathering in Charleston the evening before the event begins creating space to connect early and start the conversations that often matter most.

By stepping in early, you’re also helping make this event possible at the level it was designed for, supporting a grassroots, owner-led movement focused on the future of small business across the country.

For owners who already understand the value of this room, this is the earliest way to step in.
